Seamorgh Co. INC. , with its head office in Tehran is the largest poultry complex in Iran , involved in both broiler and layer sectors . This company whose total production amounts to 90 tons of table egg/day , 8 to 10 tons of poultry meat/day and about 22 million day-old broiler chicks a year , affiliated to the banking systems . These operations are executed in the different regions of the country.
At Ziaran the company rears 120000 broiler parents a year and markets about 11 million day-old broiler chicks/year , about 3500 tons of poultry meat are produced in Boinzahra.
At Khorsan (north-east province) the company has a 230000 bird rearing unit , 660000 layers yielding 25 tons of egg/day . In this farm the company also rears 120000 broiler parents a year and markets about 11000000 day-old broiler chicks/year.
In the province of Esfahan the company has two units . The first has a 130000 bird pullet rearing facility and 360000 layers producing 15 tons of egg/day while the second unit produces 230000 pullets/rearing period to service a 660000 bird laying unit for producing 25 tons of egg/day . A further 130000 bird pullet rearing facility and 360000 layer unit is sited in Yazd province producing 15 tons of egg/day , as well as 130000 bird pullets and 360000 layers with a daily production of 15 tons of egg/day are found in Kerman.
All seven of these operations have their own especial fruit garden as well as cultivated land for supplying as small parts of cereals to the company's feed plants.
